We specifically develop and design our refrigeration equipment after studying the entire operation of your process. We devote particular attention to the definition of needs in order to offer the most effective solution.<\/p>\n<h2>Deep-rooted expertise<\/h2>\n<p><strong>In 1956, Mr Camille Magneron, a refrigeration engineer since 1949, founded \u201cSoci\u00e9t\u00e9 de R\u00e9frig\u00e9ration Moderne\u201d (the Modern Refrigeration Company) in Cholet. He then launched production of the first water chiller intended for bread-making, an innovation presented at the Foire de Paris and patented in 1961.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SOREMA (Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Refroidisseurs Magneron) (the Magneron Chillers Company) was then founded in 1963, specialising in the design of feedwater chillers for artisan and industrial bread-makers. The water chiller, essential in bread-making, enables the chilling of mains water, which is mixed with dough during kneading, making it possible to control the final temperature of the dough.<\/p>\n<h2>Expertise in water chilling for over 50 years<\/h2>\n<p>SOREMA has therefore focussed on this specialisation during its development, successfully adapting it to all water chilling applications or industrial processes in the agri-food sectors and other industries.<\/p>\n<div class=\"su-row\">\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-2\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n<h2>1949<\/h2>\n<p>Mr Camille Magneron begins working as a refrigeration engineer in Cholet.<\/p>\n<h2>1956<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Camille Magneron founds the &#8220;Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de R\u00e9frig\u00e9ration Moderne&#8221; (the Modern Refrigeration Company) and establishes his workshop at 93 rue Barjot in Cholet.<br \/>\nAt the time, he has a staff of eight.<\/p>\n<h2>1957<\/h2>\n<p>Mr Magneron launches production of the first water chiller\u00a0intended for bread-making: an innovation presented at the Foire de Paris.<\/p>\n<h2>1961<\/h2>\n<p>Submission of a patent for the bread-making water chiller<br \/>\nThe first SOREMA chiller<\/p>\n<h2>1963<\/h2>\n<p>Foundation of SOREMA (Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de Refroidisseurs Magneron) (Magneron Chillers Company)<\/p>\n<h2>1964<\/h2>\n<p>The workshop at 93 rue Barjot no longer being sufficient, a new workshop and offices need to be built at 89A to cope with demand.<br \/>\nProduction of all immersion exchangers (coils and harrows) in stainless steel (replacing copper)<\/p>\n<h2>1987<\/h2>\n<p>Mr Magneron, at the age of 73, sells his stake to two of the company\u2019s employees:<br \/>\n&#8211; Mr Didier Auger: account manager<br \/>\n&#8211; Mrs Praud: secretary.<\/p>\n<h2>1988<\/h2>\n<p>SOREMA moves to Cormier industrial park in Cholet on\u00a0a 5000 m\u00b2 site, with 200 m\u00b2 of offices and 1500 m\u00b2 of workshop space.<br \/>\n&#8211;
